When was the last time you stopped to marvel at creation? Watched the sun turn the sky into an intricate painting of pink, blue, grey, and white. Or watched as the aerodynamically flawed bumblebee took flight? Thank goodness the bumblebee listened to God and not science or it would be destined to wander the earth on four legs! Or contemplated the complex dance of oxygen exchange with each breath and the finely orchestrated role of each organ in the human body? The things we take for granted, God crafted with purpose and attention. There were no afterthoughts, no hurried creation under deadline. All of this is from Him. As the day starts to roll like a boulder down a steep embankment stop, pause, and praise God the creator of it all. We could engrain in our children to stop, pause and praise when they learn to stop, drop and roll.

Give thanks to the LORD for he is good; his love endures forever.

Psalms 107:1 NIV

Make space in this day to appreciate the bounty of creation. Make space to thank God for His plan. He is a good father worthy of praise. Thanks be to God! -Amen

May the words that flow from me Lord be filled with Your message and when I am obedient may they be backed by the Holy Spirit. When I serve righteously let none of the words, I utter in praise of You fall to the ground. Help me to craft every word, may they pierce hearts and refresh weary souls. This gift is Yours; God I simply aim to use it for your glory.
