The Holy Spirit impressed on me an edit I needed to make to a post 12 hours after I published it. Three words need to be added to give credit where due. Paul, although an incredible servant of Jesus was just a man. His words captured in scripture are the work of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we glorify the person, and while Paul had an incredible ministry and tenacity (and I deeply want to meet him in Heaven), God deserves the glory. Anything good in me is Jesus, and if Paul was here I am pretty sure he would say the same thing.
15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
